How to refine your search using +,- or ".

+ Finds documents that contain all of the specified words.

Example: frontage+setback+screening will return only those documents that contain all three search terms.

- Excludes the documents that contain the specified word.

Example: dyslexia-ADHD, will return all documents that contain dyslexia, but not ADHD.

" Finds documents that contain the whole word or the exact phrase.

Example: "wetland resource area" will return only those documents containing this exact phrase, and not documents containing one or more of the search terms. A - symbol used within quotations will be treated as a hyphen and will not exclude any search terms. Use this to search for Docket numbers such as 01-3847.
