Land Court Reporter
The Massachusetts
Land Court, one of only two dedicated Land Courts in the country
(the other being Hawaii), generally has jurisdiction to determine
right, title, or interest in real property located in Massachusetts.
In addition, the Court has jurisdiction over complaints to
determine the validity of city or town zoning ordinances,
appeals from local special-permit and variance decisions,
foreclosure proceedings, and complaints for the confirmation
and registration of land titles. A complete listing of Land
Court subject-matter jurisdiction may be found at M.G.L.
c. 185, sec. 1.
Published
monthly since 1993, the Land Court Reporter (LCR) has become
an indispensable resource for land-use professionals statewide.
In addition to providing copies of all Land Court decisions,
LCR includes detailed case-by-case subject-matter digests,
cumulative subject-matter indices linked to over 400 subject-matter
classifications, a cumulative index of cases cited, and insightful
quarterly commentary by Richard J.
Gallogly of Rackemann, Sawyer & Brewster.
Subscriptions
to LCR are available for $425 per year. Municipal discounts
